Michael Baudino Theory of Leadership

The leadership theory that resonates with me most is authentic and transformational leadership. That is why my theory is a combination of the two. Authentic leadership shows consistency. It allows for there to be clear direction on what the vision is and how to get there. But transformational leadership is a little contradictory in my opinion. You need to adapt to be a better version of yourself for not only you, but the others around you as well. That is why it is okay to change your values - as long as it is beneficial to everyone and is backed up by good reason. In my opinion, it does not make you any less authentic by changing or adapting. Authenticity comes from being honest and sharing with others your reason for change. As long as there is clear direction, followers will not be disappointed or retaliate for a change.
